Hi, I’m Emily.

I’m a freelance health journalist focused on aging, public health, and the intersection of medicine and society as well as a first-year medical student at Harvard Medical School.

I am a graduate of NYU’s Science, Health & Environmental Reporting Program. Before journalism school, I studied chemistry at Williams College. When I wasn’t in the lab, I was out running along the peaceful trails of the Berkshires with the cross-country and track teams. After college, I spent two years in Boston studying how people live long and well with the Long Life Family Study.
